Here's what you can expect from me.
Your wedding day is going to be a gorgeous day you remember, no matter what. But, here’s the thing, there’s a lot of chaos that comes with a wedding day (you know that, you’re the one planning the wedding). So, how can I do my best work for you and how can you relax and enjoy your wedding day? I have two strategies: preparation & communication.
We’re going to work together in the weeks before your wedding to make as many creative and logistical decisions as possible. We’ll chat about your overall flow for the day. You’ll tell me which people are important to have in your formal portrait time. If you want me to come to your venue two months before so we can scout the whole location together, then honey I AM THERE. I want to know as many details as you know, so I can do my best work when I show up. And so I can be one less person asking you questions, because Lord knows, you’ve answered enough questions by the time your wedding day rolls around.
I’m going to create a custom, detailed photo timeline for us so that you’ll be able to tell your wedding party, friends, and family members where to be and when to be there. We won’t have to waste 25 minutes looking for the uncle who was supposed to meet in the garden, but who didn’t quite get the memo. If you want sunset photos, then we’ll shoot them. If you hate photos where people are jumping in the air, I’ll never ask you to jump. My goal is for us to have talked so clearly about the photos you want, that you never have to worry if I’m catching the details that are meaningful and important to you.
I want to be a shadow on your wedding day. I want to be as unobtrusive as possible, so you can genuinely enjoy all the little and big moments and I can photograph your gorgeous reactions to all the magic happening around you. And, as a bonus, I always work with a super talented second photographer so we can catch all kinds of creative and different angles.
And let’s be honest, because I put your needs first, you’ll just love working with me. Send me an email at email@example.com and let’s start talking about all the nitty gritty details of your day.
